PANTHER PARTNERS has been structured to represent and assist
Investment Managers in their Investment Capital raising endeavors in
a cost effective and timely manner. Our mission is to work as
“Partners” with a select group of exceptional organizations that are
prepared to distinguish themselves as premier firms in the Traditional,
Hedge Fund, and Private Equity portfolio management industries.
Positioned as a sentinel to Consultants and Institutional Investors
(Public Pension Funds; Corporate Pension Funds; Foundations;
Endowments; Taft-Hartley Pension Funds; Fund-of-Funds; and
accredited Family Offices) with ongoing investment searches, our focus
is on the creation of long term value and relationships involving these
Fiduciaries in quest of  prudent investment diversification, and the
appropriate Investment Manager.

JOAN MARSTED
Partner & President

Joan began her career in the Securities Industry as an Institutional Broker in 1977. Located in San Francisco, Joan
quickly gained prominence in her field and offered her services through the offices of Hutton Securities, Drexel
Burnham Lambert, Bear Stearns, A.G. Edwards and Sutter Securities. With a diverse contact data base and successful
experience in Institutional Brokerage, Joan co-founded Hanover Square Associates, a third party marketing firm
located in New York who raised in excess of $1.5 Billion in Institutional Investment Capital for traditional Money
Managers, Hedge Funds and Private Equity firms. To further broaden her exposure to Investment Managers seeking
Institutional Marketing services, Joan co-founded Panther Partners, LLC in 2003.

Joan is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and has held the Series 7 - General Securities Representative, and
the Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination securities registrations.


GARY MOSHER
Partner & CFO

Gary began his career in the Securities Industry in 1976 with the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he left as the
Chief Examiner in the Exchange’s Compliance Department. In 1981 Gary joined A.G. Becker as the Firm’s Principal
Options Compliance Officer and founded and managed the “A.G. Becker Managed Options Account Program”. From
1984 to 1995 Gary was a Producing Officer in the Chicago Regional offices of Bear Stearns, Kidder Peabody, and
Oppenheimer & Co. During this tenure, Gary marketed Investment Banking services and managed in excess of $100
Million through comprehensive risk arbitrage strategies encompassing Equity, Index, Foreign Currency and Treasury
Option contracts and their underlying securities for Institutional, Corporate, and Private Capital Accounts.

From 1995 to 2002 Gary was employed as a Chief Operations Officer, Chief Financial Officer & Chief Compliance
Officer with Investment Banking firms located in Illinois, New Jersey and  New York. In 2003 Gary co-founded Panther
Partners, LLC.

Gary received his degree in Finance from Western Illinois University and has held the Series 4 - Registered Options
Principal; Series 5 - Treasury Options Principal; Series 7 - General Securities Representative; Series 15 - Foreign
Currency Options Principal; Series  24 - General Securities Supervisory Principal; Series 27 - Financial & Operations
Principal; Series 53 - Municipal Securities Principal; Series 55 - Equities Trader, Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent
State Law Examination; and the Series 65 - Registered Investment Advisor securities registrations.  

Gary also has served as a member of the NASD Board of Arbitrators, and has provided Expert Witness testimony  
regarding Securities Regulations before the Supreme Court of the State of  New York, County of New York.
