VIRTUAL ROCKET SCIENCE
SKU: Class: Rocket Science
Engineering is a crucial skill, as space travel and exploration become increasingly significant to the future of humanity. In this class, students will build virtual rockets, put satellites in simulated orbit, design rovers to investigate other planets, and explore a digital simulation of our cosmos...and beyond.
Students will use Kerbal Space Program, a space flight simulator supported by NASA and Elon Musk, where players control an aerospace program, build and fly spacecraft in a realistic physics simulation, and explore the “Kerbal” solar system.
Practicing simulations of space exploration may help students build a path to rewarding careers in related fields.
