Teens will practice challenging yoga postures highlighting focus, flexibility, core and building both inner and outer strength. The class includes sun salutations, held poses, inversions, and use of props to facilitate proper anatomical alignment and adapt for injury/limitations. With a weekly practice, they will strengthen emotional brain balance, trust and social skills. And breathing exercises promote deep relaxation and positive self-awareness. All skill and experience levels welcome. Excellent class for athletes. Class is 1 hour and includes yoga mat and props.
