General Information

CCMS Symphonic Band & Symphony Orchestra will be participating in the Music in the Parks Festival at Segerstrom Fundamental High School and Knott’s Berry Farm, on Saturday, April 18th, 2026. Please plan to be on the field trip for the entire day. Call time will be 8:00 AM at CCMS Room 3. We will return to CCMS around 10:30 PM.

This opportunity allows CCMS musicians to perform for nationally ranked judges and receive feedback on their progress. Students will also have the opportunity to meet and listen to other music groups from all over Southern California. Following the performance, students from all performing ensembles will celebrate at Knott’s Berry Farm. We are so proud of our CCMS musicians and for their contribution to the CCMS music department!

We are requesting that families who are financially able provide a donation for their student to attend the festival. We are emphasizing a “pay-what-you-can” model for every family. The PTSA has been fundraising this year so that every student in the Symphonic Band and Symphony Orchestra will be able to attend the festival. Cost will not be a barrier for any student to attend. Music in the Parks attendance deadline for tickets & attendance is March 12th. We are requesting for confirmation of attendance and donation submission by this date to fulfill the invoice.
