Teresa Estrade, Asst. Coach

Teresa Estrada (She/Her) is an Assistant Speech Coach specializing in interpretation and performance events. She is an alum of the Illinois High School Association Drama and Speech circuit and a graduate of Illinois State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. Teresa has extensive experience in competitive speech and theatre, earning two IHSA state championships in Poetry Reading and three state championships in competitive theatre.

During her time in college, she qualified for national competition in the events of Prose, Duo, Persuasion, and Poetry. In addition to her competitive background, Teresa served as an assistant director for a high school competitive drama production that went on to win a state championship, further strengthening her skills in collaboration, storytelling, and performance development. She is passionate about mentoring students and supporting their growth as communicators, performers, and collaborators"
